Top Five Playstation 2 Exclusive Games People Have Forgotten About!

Top Five Playstation 2 Exclusive Games People Have Forgotten About!

The PS2 is now just over 16 years old. There was a ton of awesome games released for the Playstation 2 during its incredible lifespan. So many that more than a few have been lost to time and forgotten about. Well not anymore! As today we are looking at five of the best exclusive games of the Playstation 2 era that no one remembers.

5: Resident Evil Dead Aim

This may be a bit of a strange one, but I stand by Resident Evil Dead Aim being a damn fine game. This was set on a cruise ship and was a pretty creepy game. It played similar to other Resident Evil games, but when you wanted to shoot the game would switch into first person. This was really cool and if you had a light gun you could actually use that! Resident Evil Dead Aim is one of the forgotten Resident Evil games and one that is well worth playing.

4: Herdy Gerdy

Released in 2002, Herdy Gerdy was a very impressive game for its time. Using a cell shaded almost Disney kind of animation style. Herdy Gerdy was a fun puzzle/adventure game where you play as Gerdy who needs to save his dad and his island from an evil spell. The animation looks a little washed out these days, but back in 2002 this really was one of the most impressive looking games on the console.

3: Ghost Hunter

Ghost Hunter is not a perfect game, but it was a damn fine PS2 exclusive that no one cares about now. The game is a 3rd person action/shooter game where you play the role of a detective who gets caught up in a pretty crazy supernatural event that sees ghosts let loose and running havoc all over. With great production values, good voice acting and a pretty cool story, Ghost Hunter is one hell of an underappreciated game that actually still holds up pretty well.

2: Primal

Primal was a fantastic Playstation 2 exclusive that actually had quite a bit of hype behind it. You play as Jen who along with her gargoyle companion. Need to go between demonic worlds to try and save her boyfriend. Primal was a fun and exciting 3rd person action/adventure game with sky high production values and pretty damn tight gameplay. If you like action games with a good story then you will have a lot of fun with Primal.

1: Onimusha

Onimusha as a series of 3rd person hack and slash action games from Capcom. There were three main games in the series as well as a couple of spin offs. The majority of the games were Playstation 2 exclusives and in particular the 3rd game in the series was just phenomenal. You could argue that Onimusha 3 was one of the most well made and cinematic games of the Playstation 2 era! This is a truly awesome series and each game can be picked up for as little as a couple of bucks. Why Capcom has never released an Onimusha collection is beyond me!
