Let me start by saying I am no League Of Legends expert, but I do like to dabble in the game
for fun, but I love to watch other people play it even more.
The current World Championship of League of Legends are underway right now and while I
was not able to watch them live (that darn time difference!) I have gotten all caught up now
and I must say that I feel that this year could be the best ever.
The four groups have each played three matches and so far out of the four groups, three of
them have a team that is 3 and 0! SK Telecom T1, Longzhu Gaming, and Royal Never Give
Up. Of course, things could change, but the momentum is certainly with them and those
teams that are struggling right now will have to turn it around.
While watching the actual League Of Legends matches is what the World Championship Of
League of Legends is all about for most people and it is something that I really do enjoy. For
me, I must admit it is the whole pageantry of it all that captures my attention. I swear that
this is like watching the World Cup, the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals or any other major
sporting event in the world. The lights, the arena, the smoke and the large screens all make
it a spectacle to behold.
One thing that I think is better this year is that I feel that I have gotten to know the teams and
the players better. I do not know if this is because of the presentation of the World
Championship Of League of Legends themselves or because I have taken a larger interest.
But If you have always wanted to get into pro gaming as a spectator and been a bit
intimidating to do so. I would say that watching some highlights of the group matches which
have just happened is the way to go.
