As you are probably aware, Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been released for the Nintendo Switch and it has been flying off store shelves.
After being able to spend some real time with the game I wanted to share my thoughts. Let me start by saying that Super Smash Bros Ultimate is an amazing game. The massive roster of over 70 characters is just crazy and most of the characters have had some serious changes made to them making them feel brand new.
The fighting is just perfect and one of the things I have always loved about this series is the way that anyone can play it. You can take your time and really learn a character and take the game seriously. Or you can just smash buttons and screw around and you will still have a great time.
What I am loving about Super Smash Bros Ultimate though is how while it is awesome in multiplayer. It is not a game that is all about that. People who want to play single player have a ton to do here.
You, of course, can pick a character and make your way to the end, but there is also the World of Light mode where each level is a new challenge and the chance for you to earn a new Spirt that can be used to buff your character. I love this mode! It is just so full of fan service that it is impossible not to fall in love with it.
Another thing I love about Super Smash Bros Ultimate is how the game only starts you with eight characters. I have no interest in doing one of these cheap methods to unlock everyone. I am having a blast just playing through the game at my own pace and unlocking characters as I go.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate is another amazing game released for the Nintendo Switch and one that has to be in your collection. Heck, I would go as far to say that this is worth buying a Nintendo Switch for!
