Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Coming This September

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Coming This September

We all knew a new Tomb Raider game was coming after all this thing has had more leaks in the last year than anything else, heck even the “official” trailer was leaked a day before Square Enix intended.

Anyway, Square Enix has now officially released the teaser trailer for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and also given us a release date of September 14th this year. I could not be any more excited. Tomb Raider and Rise Of The Tomb Raider were both fantastic games and gave Lara back her thunder after it had been taken by Nathan Drake. From what I can tell, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC all appear to be getting Shadow Of The Tomb Raider at the same time.

The teaser trailer does not give much away, but we do see Lara Croft running through a jungle, in some caves and right at the end, she is what looks like an old Mayan city, complete with pyramids and temples.

Square Enix has said that full reveal will be coming on the 27th of April, but with the way things have gone with this new Tomb Raider game as far as leaks go, I have a feeling we will be finding out a lot before then.

If you have a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you owe it to yourself to play Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and Rise Of The Tomb Raider both are fantastic games and this new, more realistic approach to Lara Croft is really cool.

On a personal note, my first experience with Tomb Raider was on a PlayStation demo disc, but the first game I actually owned was Tomb Raider II, which despite being hard as nails was a game that I loved. This is actually the series third reboot as it was rebooted with Tomb Raider Legend which led to Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider Underworld all three are good games in their own right.

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider though, will hopefully be the best Tomb Raider game yet.
