I have pre-ordered a ton of games in 2018, but there is also a console that is on my pre-order list on Amazon that I am very excited about, but at the same time I am also a little nervous. The console in question is Sony’s answer to the Nintendo Classic Mini line, the PlayStation Classic.
The PlayStation Classic was announced around two months ago as I write this. I was giddy with excitement and pre-ordered that sucker as soon as it went live. I know that many others did as well as it actually went unavailable for a short while as stores made sure that Sony could actually meet the demand as Nintendo had left retailers and consumers a little worried about availability thanks to their shortages of the NES Classic.
Well you can still pre-order a PlayStation Classic pretty easily, but now that the hype and excitement have died down many of us are asking, where are the games? Sony announced five of the 20 games.
Tekken 3, Jumping Flash, Final Fantasy VII, Ridge Racer Type 4 and Wild Arms. Some big hitters here for sure, but as the release date is a little over a month away many people are wondering when Sony will announce the remaining 15 games.
There are all kinds of hypothetical lists online, but still, no one knows for sure. As the console in the UK has an 18 rating I would say that a Resident Evil game is a real safe bet for the PlayStation Classic, but again that is just an opinion at the end of the day.
Hopefully, in the coming days, I will be able to write a blog post about how all 15 of the remaining PlayStation Classic games have been announced and they are awesome.
