I have talked about Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 before here on the site and this rumor is getting hotter and hotter. Almost to the point where it would be more surprising if the next game in the series was not Call Of Duty Black Ops 4..
While most people seem pretty certain that Call Of Duty 2018 is going to be Black Ops 4. What I am finding pretty interesting is that there is a lot of talk that Call Of Duty is coming to the Nintendo Switch and that whatever the game released towards the end of 2018 is, will also see a release on the Nintendo Switch.
While some may turn their nose up and say that the Nintendo Switch will not be able to run Call Of Duty. The Nintendo Switch has proven to be far more powerful than most of us thought. Also if you look at the previous Call Of Duty games, most notably Advanced Warfare and Black Ops III. These game also appeared on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
It is plausible that a slightly downgraded version of Call Of Duty could appear on the Nintendo Switch and be an awesome time too! Maybe they could have fewer players in a match and slightly less detailed textures. The gameplay would still be the same so I am sure Nintendo Switch fans would really eat this up as that console apart from Doom, is really missing some epic first person shooter action.
Activision has been great at supporting Nintendo in the past. Let's not forget that the Nintendo Game Cube, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii and even the Nintendo Wii U all saw Call Of Duty games released for them. So Activision clearly has some love for Nintendo and with how well the Switch is selling, no doubt Call Of Duty on Nintendo Switch would make them a ton of money.
