I am a huge Call Of Duty fan so I was very excited for the big Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII reveal. While I do wish they showed off a little more, what we did see looked fantastic.
The multiplayer in Call Of Duty has always been the main selling point. There was so much happening in the trailer that it was kind of hard to take it all in. One person stated that it had a kind of “Overwatch” look to it and I think that is a great description. I was surprised to see no wall running or boost jumping, but I am thinking perhaps that will be a perk that a certain class gets in the future.
The Zombies mode this year looks weird, but also awesome. It looks like you have a lot of customization options at your fingertips and rather than a huge long story like in Call Of Duty WWII. Zombies in Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII appears to have mini stories that are set in different locations, in the trailer you could see a Roman Coliseum and what looked like the Titanic! Zombies are always a lot of fun and this one here looks very interesting.
The big selling point of this year’s Call Of Duty has to be their new take on the Battle Royale genre, Blackout. It is like a celebration of the last decade of Black Ops action. The map is the largest we have ever seen and features areas from some of the most popular maps that have been part of the Black Ops series. As well as maps, weapons, characters, and vehicles from the series will be in this mode. One of the most interesting reveals was that in Blackout, you can use land, sea and air vehicles. This mode is without a doubt going to be a huge, huge hit and I am very interested to hear more about it.
