Well, this news could not have come at a better time. The brand new season of The Walking Dead has just started on TV. Plus we have also found out that despite the closure of Telltale Games, The Walking Dead Season 4 is going to get a proper ending.
When Telltale Games closed they had only released two out of four episodes of what was supposed to be the final season of their epic Walking Dead series. The Walking Dead by Telltale, especially the first two games in the series sold like hot cakes and they received immense critical acclaim.
Many gamers were excited to see how Clementine’s story would come to an end, but due to the closure of Telltale Games just a few weeks ago, many felt we would not see the final two episodes.
Skybound are a fitting savior for The Walking Dead season 4 as they are the company behind the comic book. They have said that they have worked a deal out with Telltale that will allow them to finish off the remaining two episodes of The Walking Dead.
One thing that is really cool is that on Twitter, Skybound Games have revealed that they are going to work with people from Telltale to make sure the story is going to be finished the way that it deserves. I really think the fact that Skybound is the home of The Walking Dead makes them the best people possible to take this on.
The Walking Dead Season 4 has two more episodes to go, but there is no word yet on when they will be released. I am also wondering if the first two episodes may be taken down for a while, at least until they can be rebranded with the Skybound Games name.
From a personal point of view, I have loved The Walking Dead series, but I am waiting until all four episodes are done until I jump into season 4. I have done this with the other games and I usually end up beating them in just a couple of sittings.
